It happened again at dinner and, unfortunately, my wife heard it and off to the ER we went! After 5 hours and many tests I was told to contact my cardiologist the next day since they could find nothing wrong. When my device was tested, a pop-up on the computer screen said I was ready for a battery replacement.
I was very unhappy they did not warn me about these vibrations. It would have saved me a trip to the ER. Has anyone else gotten any more information on the vibration issue? Seems like nobody ever did find out what the humming was and why it vibrated. At my last ICD check apt. Options: remove the lead , insert new one beside of it.. This is not a option for me in my opinion, if the wire comes dislodged it can float into the heart and cause damage.
Secondly, Battery change. They dont change the battery,, Heck no.
