The new Rome Fair, designed on a project by architect Tommaso Valle, is situated along the Rome Fiumicino route, strategically positioned next to the main road networks, and easily reachable by plane, pastrain and bus.
The Fair covers a total gross area of , m2, about , of which public open spaces. The roofed area spreads over , m2, formed by 22 single-level rectangular pavilions, all fully cabled and air-conditioned, designed by using clear-span trusses placed along the perimeter. The pavilions are interconnected by an automated elevated pathway used as a walkway by visitors, allowing them to access the Fair through four entryways located at the cardinal points of the complex.
